To add a personal touch, the weaver sews a cardboard piece with her name, ensuring a connection between you and the artisan behind your basket.
The shades of blue, red and yellow colours are dyed in the Hadithi Dye centre.
All other colours, including the black, are obtained with natural dye, using soil or the bark of a trees.
They measure very approximately 18cms by 18cms.
