Description
Recycled rice bags are used to make these very strong, unusual bags. They have been made by artisans in and around Kathmandu supported by Jeevankala ( www.himalayanhealthcare.org ) , a not for profit organisation which aims to improve the lives of the artisans, especially women, by giving them sustainable, well-paid work.
The shopper is about 30 cms wide and 28 cms high, with two shoulder straps 50 cms long. The bags are fastened with a zip, lined in black fabric and have a zipped pocket inside.
