Description
Recycled food bags are used to make these very strong, unusual bags. They have been made by artisans in and around Kathmandu supported by Jeevankala (www.himalayanhealthcare.org ) , a not for profit organisation which aims to improve the lives of the artisans, especially women, by giving them sustainable, well-paid work.
This roomy shopping bag is about 34cms wide and 34cms high, with a generous 13cms gusset and two fabric shoulder straps 50cms long.
