Description
These lovely backpacks are made from natural hemp which has been grown and prepared locally to the workshops of Local Women Handicraft in Kathmandu. The hemp is then woven by hand on a 100yr old wooden loom. Finally, the fabric is coloured using natural, non-toxic dyes.
They measure 28cms wide, by 40cms , with a 15cms gusset, and are generously padded to make them stronger and more comfortable to wear.
They fasten with a good quality zip and have a large pocket in the lining. The front of the bag has a large zipped pocket and an elastic-top pocket on each side to hold drinks etc. The broad shoulder straps are adjustable.
This is a quality item made by a fair trade company.
